This book has been sat on my shelf for a while waiting to be read. I’ve finally read it, and I must I really did like it. It centres around a character called Cat who investigates murders in London. I’ve read many books with storylines like this, but this was different. There were no loose ends at the end of the book, which is quite refreshing. Cat herself is greatly likeable, she’s incredibly flawed (like most people), but she is also funny, and quite plain, unlike many other crime thrillers where the main detective always seems as though they’ve stepped off the cat walk. Cat also has lots of family issues, and her background makes the character seem depressed at times. But this is a great storyline of investigating a murder, and I’m looking forward to dusting the next book off the shelf to read!!
