What wonderfully fun and colourful illustrations this book has. I think I could spend hours looking at all the little details on each page. I think the mix of history and recipes is a great way to educate children - adults as well, in fact - about the cultures of different countries. My only disappointment is there's nothing from the Caribbean, an area of the world I love. I think this would make a great gift.
