I was so intrigued by this book from the first look and the print version is an absolute joy. It would be perfect for a gift or to give to a school library.
This is a book which takes you on a culinary trail across the world, with information about each country’s history, cuisine and a recipe fitting with the culture.
With a double page spreads for each country laid out with wonderful illustrations, this informative book, part cookery book but also an information guide and story book is like no other I have seen. The recipes are laid out with ingredients as pictures with clear instructions of measurements so would be ideal for family cooking. Or even just as a type of non fiction book , probably suitable for children 9 or ten upwards.
I am pleased to have this book in my possession, the only negative is the size! Probably at least A3 size it does feel unwieldy but worth it for the content
