In general I thought the concept was great but the execution I was very disappointed with. The graphics I thought were good and appealing. Bright colours. However, for me it seems to cram a great deal of information into a small space. I like the idea of exploring different foods from around the world. Their origins, history and recipes are a unique and worthwhile adventure. But for me the idea could be developed more and be more comprehensive. As the pages are very busy with information it looks less user friendly and messy. It may also be worthwhile to mention complementary foods and serving suggestions. Therefore rather than a reference guide one to return to time and time again I think the book in the present format would be quickly forgotten and destined to reside on the bookshelf or donated to the charity shop. Great idea but could be much better.
