This is an absolutely beautiful, large, well presented hard back book. The quality of paper and print is great making it feel generous and substantial.
The previous book “maps” was a firm favourite and was revisited over many years, first with parents then later as an independent reader. “Take a Bite” is a perfect sequel which I am sure can be enjoyed by a range of ages.
Each page is full of illustrations and bite sized, interesting facts that are sure to engage younger readers.
Particularly exciting for older children (and the adults!) are the recipes on each page highlighting a different country’s cuisine. We are particularly looking forward to trying these out and it will mean the book finds a new life over and over again.
