This book has it all - culture from many different countries, facts about food, history of the people and recipes of popular dishes from each country. Every single page has been well researched, is interesting to read and is written from the heart. The pictures and colours chosen to go with each country are outstanding and eyecatching - even the least interested child would have a hard time ignoring this book!
You can tell the author has a clear interest in learning (and teaching) about different foods and cultures and loves to learn the histories of each - this comes across in the passion of the writing. It is well written and is really, very enjoyable to read.
I'm sure in many households this book will be frequently brought out and time spent flicking through the pages and lots of learning to be had.
My only negative is the size of this book - it is BIG!!
