As someone who has travelled around to a lot of different countries, I found this book really fascinating. It has a very appealing look to it and is full of colour an illustrations. Even my 3 year old daughter was enjoying having a flick through with me! It is not really a book that you would sit and read cover to cover, but more of one that you would dip into every now and then. I found it interesting to read about some of the more well known recipes from the countries that I have visited and enjoyed looking at some recipes from places that I am yet to visit. I like being able to try the local 'delicacies' when I visit somewhere, so this book would make sure that I didn't miss out on anything. It is a very large, heavy book, so not one for sitting reading in bed! I found it fascinating to see the origins of some of the food and find out where they came from originally.
