I knew my daughter would love this book and it really did not disappoint. The first impression was the quality of the book itself, it is hardback and a big book and not to judge it by its cover, it looked appealling.
Even having a flick the book there is so much that jumps out with the fabulous illustrations and there is so much information on each page.
It is aimed for children and so it is easy to understand the text and it is explained in a clear way with information about the country, history and culture as well as the cuisine. My daughter was fascinated with it, and as it is so big and packed full it will keep her interest for quite a while.
Even me as an adult enjoyed reading this with her and I learnt a lot myself. This has been thoroughly researched by the authors and that comes across when reading it. The recipes are also a great addition and really helps kids to become engaged.
