I read this with my two daughters who are ages 9 and 7. They were captivated by the illustrations and throughly enjoyed reading about foods from all around the world. It definitely helped them learn more about other countries and cultures and they loved deciding which foods they would like to try one day.
The inclusion of recipes I really loved and some mr and my girls are going to try and attempt one day!
The writing is probably suitable more for my 9 year old than my younger daughter but with help from an adult or confident reader this would be suitable for most children. It’s a huge size book too! I didnt expect it to be so big! It definitely helps for a more enjoyable read and is something my children can come back to often to read.
Overall it was an educational, informative and insightful book all about food/history of food from all over the globe.
