My niece loved this book as it was well illustrated and the information was useful. Recipes and stories of how our food is made and the way food is shown around the world. I feel this would be a lovely illustrated book used in class and as a fun informative book to read together. Particularly liked the recipes and the steps on how to make these recipes. It covers lots of countries and the difference between what we eat and the constant relationship we have with food. My youngest fan of this book read it by lying in the floor and turning the pages oohing and aarghing it brought on conversations I probably would not have had if we hadn’t been reading this book. A great book full of ideas information and plenty of ideas to cook and discuss our foods and the distictintive differences we all have in choice of eating cooking and the foods we have grown to love.
