I thought this was a great book. It’s an encyclopaedia all about history, food, culture and also contains many recipes. I thought the book was a great size too, it is much bigger than I expected (A3) and very sturdy. It would not fit on a bookshelf very well, but would look good in the kitchen/on a table.
The authors take you all around the world with food, recipes and cultural traditions from many counties. Each page contains lots of information, is detailed and contains beautiful illustrations. There are lots of interesting facts and it is educational. I loved discovering new foods and will definitely be attempting to make some of them.
