The imagery and research gone into this book is absolutely incredible. I was blown away by the artwork and the style of writing is easy to read and for the target audience of kids that is perfect.
To be perfectly honest I was expecting more recipe information than stories and the recipes that were there were badly explained and if someone were to try it they would be utterly and completely confused.
The size of this book was also odd as I was expecting it to be smaller but was pleasantly surprised with the enormity of it as if it was any smaller I don't think it would have been able to be presented the way it was. It was like a collection of posters from each country that blended together perfectly.
Overall this book was perfect for a kid with no intentions of using the recipes but just to learn about different cultures and where many of people's favourite dishes come from!!
