A taste of the world is a brilliant idea. A book full of facts plus recipes from all around the world.

The downside is that the book is huge! Which is not very conducive to a cook book. It would be very hard to have this on a kitchen counter.

The pages are very busy and are shades of one colour rather than bright and bold.

You could pore over this book for hours reading facts and it is great to pick up and put down. The recipes are good and simple, I can’t wait to try some of them out.

I really like the premise of this book and the size is great for a fact book but is really not suitable for a cookbook. The recipes are also quite small so hard to keep your place on in cooking.

A taste of the world would make a great gift for a child, probably 5-10 is the best suited age range but could be old, especially for a child who loves cooking.

An enjoyable book but not very practical.
