I loved this book, came highly recommended to me by other satisfied readers and I wasn't disappointed. Tall Oaks by Chris Whitaker is fast paced, highly compelling and an entertaining crime thriller that had me hooked. Excellent storyline with many wonderfully diverse characters that I liked so much. Each character has an interesting story to tell many with unbelievable secrets. Tall Oaks maybe a small town but as the blurb says it has big secrets! I really like the author's writing style, I understand he's British writing an American story that he has captured perfectly and not an easy feat I imagine. I hope to read his next book "All The Wicked Girls" because if its like this one it will be brilliant!
