This book is described as being similar to twin peaks but I wouldn't agree. Right from the beginning I was gripped by the story and the characters. I really liked that although you know the main focus is going to be the child's disappearance it's not what the book focuses on. This book has a little bit for everyone with thriller, teens growing up etc. It even would be classed as an LGBT book and I think those elements were done really well. There are characters that look shady but are hiding their own secrets and the main part of the book is actually about everyone else's lives carrying on with their own problems. The ending was absolutely amazing and I had no idea what would have happened although some bits you gets hint of. The writing and characters are fantastic. I definitely would recommend this book
