A lot of books start off slow and build up to something. Not this book. This book started right in the action of the plot.

Tall Oaks has so many characters, but although hard to keep up with at first, is refreshing once you get to know them all. What really got me was that ALL of the characters were somehow connected; even those that hadn't even spoken to each other once in the book.

I thought I knew what was coming from about half way into this book. I thought it was so obvious. But I was wrong. Then wrong again. There are so many twists and turns in this book that leave you guessing right up until the end.

This was an amazing read that I highly recommend anybody reading if they're looking for something with action, suspense, and some funny moments thrown in there as well.
