The story sounds good but the first 23 pages of this extract are very slow. We already know from the blurb Ursula meets Rafael at the Dating Service; The Arc, but the extract only just introduced this The Arc. It spent the first 23 pages on Ursula moaning about her unsuccessful love life. The extract should have been meeting Rafael then scene. If the story cannot catch up with blurb in the extract, it is clear this is going to be a slow read. At 352 pages, I will skip this thanks. I do like the colourful cover, though it did make me think it would be an LGBT couple.
