I don't even really know where to start with this one. I'm not a massive fan of light reads which the cover and blurb clearly suggest this is, but at the same time I was somewhat intrigued as it sounded fun....
Then cut to the first few pages. Which amount to a drunk and puking 35 year old woman being groped in the back seat of a taxi.
Now maybe I am old before my time but as a 36 year old woman this just felt too trashy for an opening paragraph.
Then the main character goes on to talk disparagingly about the recent men she has dated, including writing one off because of his shoes...so now I really don't like the main character. You can vom in a taxi but you're too good for him because of his shoes...no thank you.
I definitely won't be buying this book. If I won it would I read it? Probably..but mostly to rant about afterwards I think.
