My first impression of this book is that it's not for me. Straight away I don't find the cover appealing and then the blurb doesn't sound like my cup of tea either. And from reading the first impression, I'm not entirely sure it's the kind of story that would suck me in. However, in saying that, it is well written and flows nicely. Descriptive with character development. So, I would definitely give this a go and read it in full if I were to receive a copy, but I'll admit, I wouldn't pick it up off a book shell myself
