I’ll start by saying that I love short chapters but by looking at the First Look this just doesn’t have that. However, this isn’t a major turnoff as the premise of this book looks amazing.

Although I’m not a massive fan of the third person narrative, but this book (so far) does it amazingly. The frequent dialogue definitely kept me engaged. As well as this, the time stamps on each chapters allow me, as the reader, to stay captured in the storyline, as I’m (essentially) being forced to keep track to days and times. I also found that the time stamps were fun to track character feelings and I think that the author does this very effectively.

I found that the fact that Ursula was in her thirties very refreshing too as it’s definitely a step back from the main protagonists being in their twenties.

Another downside like I said earlier, is the long chapters. This is simply because I find it hard to keep focused and just interested in the whole story line.
