As soon as I saw the cover , I knew there would be more to the book than it seemed. This first extract was amazing and filled with hidden meanings which I loved! Our main character, Ursula, is sick of dating as she has tried everything and cannot find someone that meets her standards.
I loved the mix of comedy and serious topics spoken about in this book so far! I’d love to read because I’m dying to find out if she ever finds someone or if she finds something to fill that gap in her life. Ursula and Issa’s friendship was really enjoyable to read and I really need to know how the story ends up developing!!
My favourite quote was ‘ I have friends—too many friends, actually. I should get rid of some.’ I feel like this quote shows how Ursula doesn’t conform to societal constructs (like how you should have lots of friends and this should be the way you live)
