I was drawn into this because of the algorithm-based way of matching love interests. It sounded very techy and I was hoping for some cool sci-fi sorta thing but I was a little disappointed by how it was executed. The story had some bizarre moments and I appreciated what the author was trying to do by incorporating feminist themes. However, I feel that they made Ursula come across in an overly pretentious way and she was quite hard to connect to. I was invested in the relationship, which has a pretty predictable ending, but I think, in the end, I was just reading for the weirdness, rather than having a connection with the characters. If I'm honest, my favourite character ended up being the cat... which is never a good thing!
