If you're a woman of a certain age and a marketer, as I am, you can resonate with Ursula and her dating life.

The story is set in New York, already a winner in my eyes, and Ursula is of the age where dating starts from an app - there are so many choices nowadays and she is overwhelmed by these choices, so gives a more refined dating app that delves in not only the physical but emotional psyche of the users.

I was in hysterics from the first page (the throwing up incident) and the style of the writing is really easy to follow, if a little corny in places, and also written in American (gray not grey), but this isn't too off-putting at all.

As the book progresses, she meets someone and the fireworks start, but as with everything, fireworks aren't everything!

I wasn't too sure about the book cover, thought it looked quite junior, but the story packs a lot more punch that what the cover suggests, so I wouldn't let this put you off. From what I've read it's a humorous, romantic novel that I would most definitely enjoy.
