Ursula and Raphael are both successful professionals in New York, however their love lives are at rock bottom. They both sign up for The Arc, an exclusive and super futuristic dating service. After paying $50000 and taking a lot of tests, they are matched together and guaranteed to be a perfect fit. But is The Arc as smart as it claims to be? Are Ursula and Rafael the perfect match?
I enjoyed this book, the characters are fun and lively, especially Ursula who is the main. I think if I knew her in real life, I would find her obsession with finding a partner and her constant moaning about her job highly annoying! However in the book, it just seems to help build up her back story.
I can definitely see dating services becoming more personalised and high tech like this in the future. And to be honest, it does sound more appealing than trialling though all the weirdos. But as Ursula and Rafael have to decide, how much of your own happiness and future plans can you successfully outsource. Even with a money back guarantee!
