The Arc by Tory Henwood Hoen tells the story of Ursula and Rafael, two people who meet through being matched at The Arc. This is a service that matches people through in depth emotional and psychological tests and comes with a very high price tag!
It was an enjoyable read and I warmed to both Ursula and Rafael and wanted things to work out for them. It got me thinking about compatibility and what makes people suited to each other and essentially be a ‘match’. I read this book in a couple of sittings; it was easy to read and I wanted to find out what would happen to the two characters so I was keen to read on.
I liked the supporting characters too and overall, everyone was likeable and added to the story. This is definitely something different to read and I quite liked that about it. I would definitely pick this up off a bookshelf and I would recommend to others.
