As a single girl, the whole premise of this book appeals to me. I was desperate for a copy and was therefore super excited to get one.
I enjoyed reading about the characters involved in this novel - the stories, the dates, the lack of hope and basically the sense of never ever being able to find the one.
Introducing The Arc - surely it isn’t just a case of science and money? Well, if we could be matched based on science that would be incredibly interesting. It made me think of the UK programme Married At First Site where couples are matched purely on the science.
Overall, I liked the style and the tone to this piece of writing. It’s modern and contemporary, playful and fun. I think it would appeal to many different readers - not just the single girls.
All in all an enjoyable read. I’d have preferred it if it was set in the UK so I could relate but that’s a minor thing really.
