While the concept of the book seemed funny and entertaining, the actual storyline (which begins with the graphic details of a woman vomiting) and an extremely strange protagonist whom I would not warm to, makes for an extremely lackluster and unengaging read. I wanted to like this book, it looks like a good read, but unfortunately it was not for me. I found it a bit too vulgar in places, which were unnecessary and took away from the actual storyline which would have been much more charming and engaging. Unfortunately, I could not warm at all to Ursula, or Rafael, which is extremely problematic for a reader. I felt that Ursula was like the workmate you try to avoid on your lunchbreak when you just want to chill and have a coffee before going back into the buzz of the day. Too weird, too smutty and overall too unromantic for me for a 'romantic' novel. A nice concept that, overall, was unfortunately not well executed in my opinion.
