I will admit it was the front cover of this one that first caught my attention and then from the blurb I knew I wanted to read it.

We first meet 35 year old Ursula as she tells her friend all about her latest awful first date - she managed to throw up in the taxi! This is when a passing stranger hands her a business card for The Arc. A new matchmaking service that is super sophisticated and promises to find you a match using highly complex measures. Feeling fed up and tired of going home to cry whilst cuddling her cat Ursula decides she may as well send an email to The Arc.

That’s how Ursula finds herself setting off to spend a few days going through emotional, psychological and physiological assessments. Before long Ursula is matched with 42 year old Rafael. From their first meeting the sparks fly. They soon find themselves falling deeply in love. Neither have felt anything like this before. They agree on everything sharing the same values, beliefs and interests. But then the pair have their first slight disagreement and begin to discover not everything in a relationship is predictable.

I loved the characters especially Ursula. She is so fun, unusual and witty and I love how well Rafael complements her personality. I found this a light hearted, fun read with a premise as quirky as the characters.
