I was so captivated by this novel. At first it seemed a little slow, we receive a lot of Ursula's backstory in the first section of the book, but then in the second half the pace really picks up. I couldn't put this book down!
It charts the relationship of Ursula and Rafael as they meet through the ARC, a data-gathering data agency that guarantees the perfect match and a true love. At first, this is exactly what Ursula and Rafael think they have found. However, all is not as it appears, their relationship takes some unexpected turns, until a final twist in the end.
Ursula and Rafael are both likeable, relatable and funny, with strong personalities and backgrounds. There was some excellent character development throughout the novel, and the pacing was brilliant.
This novel really wasn't what I was expecting, but I'll definitely be reading more by Tory Henwood Hoen.
