I tend to go into books without reading too much about them, I lived the cover, I thought it was contemporary and modern however from the cover I expected a ya romance. However what I got was so much better than that.
I thought the concept of this book was really innovative and unique. The story line took turns that I didn’t expect and didn’t see coming which made it much more enjoyable to read than your run of the mill chic lit or romance.
I loved the characters Ursula and Raphael and really enjoyed how the characters developed both as individuals and as a couple as the book progressed. I also really enjoyed the humour which was portrayed through the characters, especially Ursula.
This book was so much more than I had anticipated so I’m really glad that I gave it a chance and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. I’ll look out for anything else from this author!
