Interesting one to review as I had mixed emotions while reading it. Didn't enjoy the beginning much. Nothing particularly wrong with it but just didn't find some of the descriptions (eg what the protagonist chose to wear) particularly interesting. As the book progressed it got much more interesting and even became an absolute page turner on certain occasions. The author is an excellent observer of human behaviour and the hidden thoughts that go with it and at some point the books almost feels like going to therapy and receiving insights on your own personality. The characters are also described in a very detailed and convincing manner, as is the nature of human relationships. The ending may have been predictable to a certain extent but it was done with an interesting twist. Overall, whilst not one of my favourites, definitely an enjoyable book. Recommended to anyone that wants a light hearted rom Com with a bit more depth to it
