The first chapter written from the point of view of the killer (I presume it is) looking for his next victims is interesting, although all of the women he picks out are different in both looks and circumstances. Then to find out the woman that he stalks when leaving the coffee shop is actually a police officer and ends up investigating what I presume is his handiwork is an interesting turn of events.
I was drawn in from the first paragraph and I want to know if the killer was one of the people at the scene that was spoken to by the police or whether he kept a low profile and blended in with the crowd. Does the killer end up killing again? And if so how many time does he kill before he’s stopped? How does Archer get on at the station after putting away an officer that still has friends there?
The cover would definitely draw me in and I would want to read the blurb based on the cover. It doesn’t immediately portray that it is about murders, it could be about naturally occurring deaths or could have nothing to do with a physical death at all.
