The story starts off in a very descriptive way and Chapter 1 flows like water. Chapter 2 works very differently having very little of the physical world around Archer and with main focus on her thoughts, memories and background. Then the action starts and it seems like the book will continue smoothly. Kind of missing the realism of the 1st chapter though, where you could almost smell the coffee and hear the cafeteria’s ambience throught the written words.
