On Detective Inspector Grace Archer's first day at her new London police station, an underground artist leaves three glass cabinets with the corpses of three homeless men out in the open. The killer calls these horrifying murders art and promises more to come. DI Archer and DS Quinn have a race against time, following the clues left behind, before the artist kills again.

This book was truly amazing. I really liked the unique way in which the serial killer committed their murders, it was actually quite fascinating and well researched by the author. I also found the inclusion and well researched police procedure quite fascinating. The story itself is thrilling and I couldn't put the book down. I liked the pace and found myself desperate to find out who exactly the murderer is.

I particularly liked reading the different viewpoints of the various characters, even the murderer. By doing this we could see what exactly is going on in the minds of several of the characters. I unfortunately didn't find myself connecting with any of the characters, especially our main character, DI Archer. However this did not spoil my enjoyment of the captivating storyline.

There is a very important message within this story about our use of social media and how much information we publicly share. This is a very well written debut novel and I would be keen to read more from this author in the future. There is plenty of action, suspense, mystery, gore and some red herrings all in this story. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to explore the crime fiction genre as this one will have you rapidly turning the pages until the end.
