Not for me and not my usual style of book, it is a thriller and immediately you feel connected to the plot and it is quite gripping however it is more aimed at serious fans of crime thrillers and for me, I found it quite intense and snappy.
The dialogue in the book is witty and keeps the pace flowing, sometimes it is too fast for my liking.
The tension is constant, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat for a great deal of the book but sometimes I found the scenes boring. That is strange to say as it is a fast-paced book, and some of the scenes [especially those from the POV of the killer] were a bit cheesy and took me out of the flow of the book.
I enjoyed the interpersonal relationships between the team, but it was a struggle to make it to the end of the book and it kind of dragged.
