I love a good crime/thriller book but with a saturated market, it’s quite hard to find some that are different and focus on subjects not covered before. However, David Fennell’s debut does just this!

Death is an art, and he is the master . . .
Three glass cabinets appear in London's Trafalgar Square containing a gruesome art installation: the floating corpses of three homeless men. Shock turns to horror when it becomes clear that the bodies are real.
The cabinets are traced to @nonymous - an underground artist shrouded in mystery who makes a chilling promise: MORE WILL FOLLOW.

I really loved the concept of this thriller and you are sucked into the story immediately, wondering who on earth could be doing this and why. It’s a pretty gruesome set of murders and I really loved how the author incorporated the use of social media, something that is huge and relevant today.

DI Grace Archer is a great female protagonist and you feel instantly drawn to her. Despite her own troubled past, she dedicates her all to the job and stops at nothing to unveil the killer!

Whilst I did guess who the killer was, it was still a very satisfactory ending and I’m hoping for more from DI Archer in the future. This is definitely one I would recommend to crime/thriller fans who want something a little bit different from the norm!
