I started off February in a bit of a reading slump but thanks to this book, I feel like I'm firmly over that! What a cracking debut!
DI Grace Archer is a force to be reckoned with and I'm so intrigued to follow her through more books and more investigations. Her backstory is so interesting and I feel like there's so much more to be explored in further books. DS Quinn also seemed like a bit of a heartthrob.
I loved the LGBTQIA+ representation throughout this book as that's something you don't usually get in thriller books.
I was immediately drawn to this book by the cover and the synopsis and I'm so glad I managed to get hold of an early copy.
This was again a bit chunky but never dull for a moment, fast paced and something was always happening. If you love thriller books/crime series then I'd recommend you read this ASAP as I anxiously await the next in the series!
