I absolutely loved this book, it's really dark and fast paced and I couldn't put it down. It's been a while since I read a book written in third person so it was good to go back to.
There is a few different dialects that pop up through the book and David Fennel writes this dialogue very well.
The murders commited by the serial killer in the book are handled well, it isn't gratuitous writing even though the killer in the book is very much so as a character.
There are clues peppered through the book and each time one came up, I wondered why it was there, it seemed so obvious how it was all going to pan out, but each time it took a direction I didn't expect. I thought I had worked out "who dunnit" quite early, realised I was wrong then came full circle and realized I had been led astray, so it was a really enjoyable experience to read and great writing. I was so convinced I had it then didn't have it so many times.
I absolutely couldn't out this book down and I would highly recommend it.
