I love the premise of this book; an "artist" (to use that word extremely lightly!) is leaving corpses that have been staged in tanks of formaldehyde in central London. I got until about just over half way before in all honesty, I started to loose interest. The pace is quite slow, and I honestly couldn't connect with DI Grace's character enough to truly care about her, or what happened to her. I think I cared more for her Grandad than her!

Certain aspects of the plot seemed a bit far fetched and honestly needless to the development of the plot or story in general. For example, Grace's initial experience with a serial killer when she was younger. I don't think it added much, but I think that was mainly because I didn't like her as a character.

It took me an awful long time to get to the end of this book because of how slow paced it became. However, I did enjoy the twist at the end and certain aspects were well written in parts despite a few grammatical errors.
