Gripping read
Wow! From the first chapter I was drawn into the story. From the start I couldn't put the book down and ended up finishing it in only two days. The search for the killer @nonymous was gripping and there every few chapters something would happen which would make you change who you suspected. I found the tension built as the book progressed and the story didn't lapse in excitement.
The character of Detective Inspector Grace Archer was well written. She was a strong, but vulnerable leader of the investigation and I was rooting for her to solve the case before DI Hicks. DS Quinn was a great addition to the story and provided a little light humour. Without him the book may have been a little too intense.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in police crime books. Would love to read more from books David Fennell writes...
