I was immediately drawn to this book by the cover (I know you shouldn’t but we all do it!) and the synopsis of the story ahead. The first few chapters really drew me in and I was excited to see where the story took us. It did not disappoint as it was a superbly written murder mystery/crime thriller that had me hooked from the beginning.
The newly appointed DI is thrown into the murder investigation that is all over social media and track the killer down before there are more victims. The killer is closer than she thinks and the writing is tense and has you turning page after page to find out what happens. The back story is a good edition to the book and the complex plot kept you guessing throughout the story to see where is would take you. The book is slightly grisly but this makes it stand out from others in the same genre and the twists and turns are superb.
The book is expertly written and is a fabulous addition to the crime genre, I really look forward to more from this author and would recommend this to everyone.
