I read the preview a couple of weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it and hungry for more! From the very first page, I was gripped. The plot is intriguing and the characters are already well defined in the first few chapters. I read a lot of thrillers and don't mind when they follow the usual tropes but there's something different about this one, I can tell.
It was a combination of writing style, characters and plot that keeps you hooked. I immediately want to know more about the main characters and what happens next. I like books that incorporate modern life and all its accoutrements so the underlying theme or commentary on social media and the potential dangers of putting too much of yourself online is really interesting to me. I also like that the author hasn't (so far) gone down the (overdone and unnecessary) route of the victims being all women. It seems like he's cleverly bringing a new twist to the genre.
