Inventive, gruesome and eerie - I loved it!

I love a gruesome, eerie thriller and when I saw the map detailing the killer’s locations, I knew I was in for a gripping treat! The murders are inventive and it adds an interesting element with the clever addition of the killer’s macabre art inspirations. DI Grace Archer is a strong female lead. She remains focused and determined despite being forced to fight against the politics within the station where she now works. I enjoyed the addition of the insight into the killer’s selection of his victims – it added fascinating yet scary details as you read on. I hope that this is the start of a new crime series, as there is so much more to explore with the lead characters! The final chapter leaves you feeling unnerved and desperate for more of DI Grace Archer! Thank you to @readersfirst @zaffrebooks and @mrdavidfennell for my copy in exchange for an honest review.
