Reading this book is like jumping in at the deep end. The reader immediately gets immersed in the story and it isn't a book that you need to keep going back to check on the characters.

Only a couple of chapters in and we have met the killer and read his thought processes, found his exhibits on display in Trafalgar Square and we also meet Detective Inspector Grace Archer who the killer also has his sights on.

The bodies in glass cases aren't thought to be real but Grace immediately spots someone she knows in one of the first to be discovered and realises this is the work of a killer and not an art display.

Grace managed to escape a serial killer 18 years ago but now will be engaging with another.

She is not well liked by her colleagues after successfully bring one of their own to justice and finds this makes her job more difficult than it should be.

This book is fast paced and involving as we join Grace in her search to find who is responsible for these macabre art displays.

A recommended read.
