The book throws the reader in straight away, and immediately shows us the main character but leaves us wondering to what his name is as it refuses to tell us right away. The book also doesn't directly tell us the main character's intentions but it gives us a lot of hints to what they might be but overall leaves it up to the reader's imagination to what his intentions may be. The book pulls you in right away and makes you want to know more - it starts off by giving the reader the idea that the main character is a stalker and possibly even a killer but it only suggests that, it doesn't actually confirm anything at the start, leaving the reader to wonder and giving the brain a chance to come up with all these different possibilities to what the main characters intentions may be and where he will go next with these intentions. Is he a stalker? Is he a killer? You have to read on to find out.
