The idea of this book is very inventive - loved the idea of a serial killer posing as an artist. I think it's a clever twist on a story that's been told a million times before. I loved each of the characters, they all have a great depth to them. This book definitely kept me gripped, I read it pretty much all in one go.
The writing style is aimed perfectly and there is enough mystery to keep you reading but not too much detail that it becomes confusing. There is the slightest touch of romance but it doesn't get in the way of the murder mystery.
My only problem was that the murderer felt too obvious and predictable. I could have a pretty good guess from about half way in.
This book makes you think about what can be masqueraded as art and how individuals can perceive art so differently. It also highlights the importance of social media and how much people can find out about us from what is portrayed online.
