From the start, the book seemed relevant. The way women are treated in work, how much quicker certainly in the media side of things they are seen to become 'irrelevant' than men. How much longer men are kept at the centre of things than women. There is certainly an element of this to her writing. Additonally, there is the question of what you do when you lose your job, how you will react (particularly when it is unexpected!), how other people react to it and how you move on with your life. These elements should make for an interesting read.
The chapters seem quite long, and may involve paying close attention to what I'm reading. There is something about non-fiction books that I find much more difficult to read. However, the topic seems interesting.
