Well the first pages of this book certainly didn't disappoint. A fairly mundane start scene-setting etc, and I wasn't sold on how the lead character was presented in the opening pages, but then the Author flips everything on it's head with the main revelation, that coupled with the plausible and well-written thoughts and feelings, and symptoms that are portrayed lends it a lot more credibility than the opening set up.

I found I could imagine exactly how she was acting and how she was feeling throughout the extract, but I couldn't actually picture the character or he settings very well.

A good start but I would hope the rest of the book gives a few more visual clues to help the reader continue.

To sum-up, OK start, great work with the portrayal and realism of character, hope for further details and prompts follow as the rest of the book explores further.
