The cover screams of being a psychological thriller, even by the colours used.

A counsellor suffering from panic attacks is an intriguing proposition but that's just the start; Robin has an uneasy relationship with her lover and a complex and problematic family history.

And that's before the shootings!

I've enjoyed Joy Fielding's stories in the past but this one seems too dark with no loving relationships in evidence yet.

(And that American habit of product placement without giving a clue what the brand name refers to can get rather annoying. It's the sort of cliquish mean trick bullying school children employ.)
