Based on the sample this seems like it will be an average thriller book with lots of plot twists throughout. Personally I didn't grow to like or sympathise with the main character in the first few chapters so will more than likely not be reading the full book.
I struggled to grasp how a trained psychologist had no coping mechanisms for her own panic attacks and seemed to have little understanding as to why others may act in the ways they do.
I do like the cover and it would grab my attention in a physical store.
